A note from the developers at Modern Storyteller about the Wikipedia entry on The Forgotten City:
As of 14 March 2023, we are concerned that the Wikipedia entry’s Plot section contains unnecessary end-game spoilers which may discourage users from playing the game or diminish their enjoyment of the game. Specifically, “As the plot progresses and the player continues exploring it is elaborated that the city is under the protection of immortal aliens who were worshipped as gods”. We feel that revealing that the “gods” are ion fact “immortal aliens” is unnecessary and adds no value to a high level plot outline.
We therefore propose to remove the relevant line and request the co-operation of our Wiki community to refrain from re-inserting it. Should you have any queries, please contact us at info@modern-storyteller.com
